Return of Lost Science
My name is Vishnu Karanam (VK). My fascination with ancient knowledge began unexpectedly with a story—a tale of discovery that stretches back to the 18th century. Thomas Babington Macaulay is an individual who is often acknowledged for transforming the educational landscape during British rule in India. Macaulay, a British historian and politician, played a significant role in shaping the education policy in 19th-century India. His education policy had a lasting impact on the Indian education system, leading to the emergence of a class of English-educated Indians who made vital contributions to the country's administration and intellectual life.
However, the Gurukul system, based on ancient Indian scriptures and teachings, received less governmental support and began to diminish in prominence. Reflecting on what has been lost, my journey began to recover the lost knowledge.
